Frappucinos are the Devil

So I knew another bad weigh-in was coming.  Up 1.6 pounds this week.  The Frappucinos are just not worth it!  I seriously am doubling my daily point intake with them.  I said goodbye to them yesterday and my goals this week are to 1) track my food/points, and 2) not have a single Frappucino.  They just aren't worth it!  Plus they're spendy.  Looking back at my week, if I eat exactly the same and have no Frapps, I should lose weight like a champ.  Cue Rocky theme.

On a positive note, I got my 16 week charm at Weight Watchers.  It's the "stay and succeed" charm.

Today's plan: peanut butter sandwich for breakfast; brown rice, chili, 1/4 avocado and carrot chips for lunch, crockpost roast beef with carrots and potatoes for dinner, snacks of cheese and oranges.  I'm saladed out; if I try to eat another piece of lettuce right now I'll gag.

Yuck I am not a salad girl :)
I love frappachinos but you are right they aren't worth it. Good luck with the new goals!

Maybe a frappuchino would be a good weekly or monthly splurge? Do they make them in low-cal versions? (pls pardon my ignorance--not a coffee person)

I've been saladed out too! I don't know if it's the lack of good tomatoes or what, but I've been avoiding my leafy greens.

Here's wishing you a great rebound week!

i'd like to suggest an alternative to the frappuchino.

make a weeks worth of coffee at home, pour it in a pitcher, stick it in your fridge and when you want a glass, just add some ice, low fat milk, and some sugar free flavoring (i like vanilla). it is lovely, low cal and low fat, although quite addicting!

LOL! My friend is addicted to frappuchinos. She told me not to even try one unless I too wanted to become an addict.

Oh, Liz. It sounds like you have a good plan around it though. I know letting go of sugar for Lent has been a huge deal. Because I've never celebrated Lent and also because I'm addicted to sugar!

Oh, I was so sure weigh-in was going to be a nice surprise for you... but hey, at least you know the devil's name now.

the frapps are definitely my downfall. @mishy, a new commenter, thanks for visiting my blog!

Kudos to you for looking at things and re-evaluating and changing things up. :)
